18 декабря скоростной поезд Hyundai Интерсити+ сообщением Харьков-Киев был транспортирован грузопассажирским электровозом ВЛ82М до станции Огульцы, дальше он отправился уже своим ходом.
Как заявили железнодорожники, повреждений контактной электросети не было и посоветовали за разъяснениями обратиться к владельцу поезда.
Представитель госпредприятия Украинской железнодорожной скоростной компании Александр Красноштан сообщил корреспонденту Медиапорт, что участок дороги достанции Огульцы - это участок с переменным током и , хотя современные поезда двухсистемные и могут работать как от переменного так и от постоянного тока, но из-за поломки Hyundai утратил способность работать от переменного тока.
Предыдущие инциденты с поездами Hyundai объясняются воздействием низких температур и обледенением отдельных узлов системы питания.
Напомним, что за прошедшую неделю вышли из строя семь электропоездов Hyundai Rotem.
