На заседании городского архитектурно-строительного совета прошло обсуждение генерального плана Харькова на период до 2031 года.
Начальник транспортных сетей института «Гипроград» Дмитрий Жуков сообщил, что генплан города предусматривает строительство четвертой ветки метрополитена, которая должна соединить станции метро «Героев Труда» и «Советской армии». Также проектировщиками предлагается достроить метро в сторону Залютино, Северной Салтовки ( станция метро «Дружбы Народов» ) и в направлении Рогани.
К 2031 году планируется увеличить количество станций харьковского метро до сорока
