Basic or the franchise. It's in MUT
Something similar attempted. They had two teams working independently, to have two
The minute MUT gets killed off as being a way for them to get cash, they will have to go back to producing a decent Madden to allow this to earn money... and that's when we'll find a good product again. Won't occur until MUT expires. MUT rakes in the cash and Madden's yearly release actually only functions as a $60 entry fee to the newest period of MUT. For the non-MUT lovers, EA could not care less, because we're more prone to await sales, or buy used, or perhaps simply spend the $60 once and that's it. Appeasing us does not matter. Kill MUT, and you're going to notice again that 1 development team will make updates. But for now there no incentive. The cash isn't in perhaps people that are basic or the franchise. It's in MUT.
I love this thread, I have been thinking the same thing for a while. When you buy a CoD game you are paying for approximately four years development effort. Buy a Madden game and you pay full cost for less than twelve months effort - shocking.Just don't purchase Madden NFL 21 this season. I won't be. They can do what they want.. Let the suits consider the short-term profit because when they shed the license in 2026 (and I can 99% guarantee they will) they will shed more than half of the fan base. If 2k puts together a decent arcade style game, I would be willing to bet the NFL informs them to begin building the foundation for a simulation game. It's going to require a couple of years for them to construct that, so that is why EA obtained the permit.
The reason I feel this will occur is because the NFL would like to grow Madden NFL 21 and EA can not do
